looking for hekm seats

im looking for a set of used helm seats. teak release style or stidd style
any help appreciated

Me too, mine are getting pretty crappy looking.

I'm still mad at myself. A year or two back Sailorman in Fort Lauderdale had a matching pair of Stidd's in perfect shape for $5k for both. I said well let's go have lunch and think it over. I decided to get them and when I came back an hour later they were sold. The moral of the story is if you find a good used pair of Stidd's, jump on those immediately. They're on craigslist occasionally, but usually only one at a time, finding a matching pair is hard.

look on facebook marketplace, or sportfishing classified page on facebook. i have seen some there

thanks for the tips. i have found some teak fighting chairs im thinking of recovering and using as helm chairs

Just make sure the fighters are going to fit as they're usually much larger both length and width than the helms. Depending where you're located they do pop up quite often on facebook marketplace, especially if you're willing to refinish, etc.
