Hello I’m in search of rudder ports as well as replacement rudders for my 1962 Hatteras 34 sc trunk cabin. It looks like the original shafts are 1 1/2 inch diameter. Any body have any laying around?!

Re: Rudder and rudder ports
Should be pretty easy to find a pair of new rudders with 1-1/2" shafts. Original set was probably too small anyway, just have them machined to accept the tiller arms, etc. Probably should post a photo of the rudder ports or what's currently attached to the hull, lots of options for replacement rudder ports including dripless.

Buck-Algonquin was the original supplier of these parts to Hatteras. If you haven't asked Sam's about what you need, I would start with them. Buck was bought by Hydrasearch, here in Maryland. They are often difficult to reach, but if you can get through, they can probably help you out.
