I was sold when I saw the Airplane style steering wheels.
Hold on tight that thing must really fly!
There is a link in the listing about how it was one of two prototype boats for the navy, the first was finished and I think they said it did 120 mph, this one didn't get finished as planed but was set aside then finished with lower power motors than initially spec'd. Being loyal to my beloved Detroits, I was surprised to see that was the power plant. OTOH, just ugly boat.
