    I'm not sure the 8v396 was a bad engine but parts are hard to find with a very heavy price tag. Having engines that are not supported very well is a nightmare, I know as I had Cummins 903s. I think there was a member here with the mtus and loved them and then there was Outrageous that threw a rod on seatrial.

    When the 65 was new you could always tell the MTU boats. They were always on the tilt with one engine out.
