    Trim Tab Missing

    Have a 1978 53MY and last week the diver cleaning the bottom noticed the starboard trim tab was missing. Said the actuator was still there (not sure of condition) but the tab itself was gone. Had taken a two day trip the week before (diver said tab was present before we departed) and am pretty sure i didn't hit anything, although a missing tab would indicate otherwise. Anyway, does anyone know where i can source a replacement tab? I'm located in SW FL. Appreciate the help!

    Probably on the bottom not far from your slip.
    One good backing maneuver can yank one off.
