Just remember, torque is more important than hp. Those C7's don't have near the torque of the c12's.

Repowering is never a good answer. You’re better off to fix what you have get rid of it and find one someone has dumped all the money time and aggravation into. You will lose 2 years of your life until everything is back together and working right. If you factor in your time loss from not doing whatever it is you do to make a living add that to the cost also. In the end it’s a crap shoot whether you get a winner or a dog you can’t even unload. I have a friend repowered a 52C with QSM11 supposedly the best thing since sliced bread. He had so many problems with them he took it back to the yard and told them to stick it. I think he’s still in litigation. You can get the best engines in the world but the installation can ruin them and every installation is custom.
