    Found it and got the part number.
    $29 for the Onan ball joint.

    It looks like a standard ball joint, found it at McMaster Carr for $10

    Yes, I don't believe it has been run much other than by myself this summer.
    I'll be changing it for sure now that I have seen that as well!

    Oil and filters needs to be changed annually regardless of hours.

    Yes I agree. Hopefully it wasn't used much.

    when I was trying to figure out what was up with the 6kw unit I did check the oil and it looked brand new. I am assuming if the previous owner was using the generator, they were probably running the 15kw unit that has the start button in the salon electrical panel.

    I don't think the boat was used much however.

    I will have to check the condition of the oil in the 15kw unit when I get back in there.

    After 30 minutes poking around it what could be best described as a one legged football stance I wasn't in the mood for any more poking around.
