I'm trying to identify this intake strainer in order to purchase new cover gaskets. I could not find any logo on the unit. My vessel is a 1987 41" convertible. Thanks for the help. 2.5 inch hoses from through hull to raw water pump.Attachment 61013Attachment 61013

Re: Identify raw water intake strainer
Just a guess but, it looks like a Perko. Hatteras should know who the original supplier was. You can make your own out of rubberized cork if you’re in a hurry

Perko or a copy. The big Groco would have a center rod and single wing nut.

I put in a new Groco strainer for my AC pumps that looks like this one. Looking down from the top the lid has a fixed hole on one side, the other open sided to slide the hinged screw-down retainer on the opposite side.

Every part for that Perko is available. Easy to make them like new.
