Can anyone give me the diameter of a NAPA oil filter for an 8-92? I'm away from the boat right now and need to order a good filter wrench.
Thanks

Re: oil filter size
Doesn’t answer your question directly, but NAPA has a pro quality slip-joint style wrench that handles a really wide range of filter sizes, about 50 bucks IIRC. I bought one after snapping off my POS AutoZone clown wrench. Have never regretted it. The guy at the NAPA counter will check to make sure it fits your filter.

Re: oil filter size
I have broke to many rubber strap wrap wrenches.
My old nylon strap wrench still works great on all sized spin on filters.

Re: oil filter size
Harbor Freight also sells a slip joint oil filter plier and while both HF and Napa sell Chinese products, HF does it cheaper.

As long as we're comparing notes, I like the ratchet band type with a 1/2" drive.
