    John,

    My chair is still at the upholsterers and will be ready in about 4 weeks (i'm in the work que). I will post a number of pictures on this thread when it is done. The upholster is charging me $450 US. I expect it will look nice.

    Hi John,

    here is my finished mahogany ladder back helm chair. I have about $1,000 into it. not cheap but looks nice.
