Going to pull out my nonfunctioning SSB set up and was wondering if I can use the antenna for the VHF radio.
The SSB antenna is in 3 pieces and stands about 18' high. That's quite a bit higher than my VHF and I was hoping I could get some more range by repurposing it.
Will it work or are the two antennas incompatible?

Called Shakespeare
No, SSB and VHF antennas are not interchangeable.
You can however use the SSB mast extensions to gain height for VHF.
