    There is a second filter in the base of the electric fuel pump. You will also see this on in the drawing I posted.

    OK,
    Looking at the middle picture there is a fuel lift pump on the left and the second labeled item to the right of it
    I expect is the fuel filter canister? Looks like the correct item. Have to look again tonight after work.

    I ordered the correct filter via the parts number.

    As most expected that tiny filter being changed seems to have solved the problem.
    I need to let it run under a heavy load
    To make sure.
