Greetings to all from a long time reader, infrequent poster.

I am a pretty hands-on guy when it comes to maintaining my now 40 year old boat. However, recently
my synchronizer quit functioning and I had no idea on where to start. My slave engine RPM would
drop back to idle when engaging the unit. Long story short, this forum gave me enough insight to
properly diagnose and exact a repair (new master engine drive cable). As mention on many
posts, the Glendinning company is very helpful. Bruce confirmed my diagnosis over the phone and 3
days later, I had the new (custom made) cable in hand and reinstalled over this past weekend. Bingo!

Just wanted to thank all on this board who contributed to this particular subject matter over the
years. That knowledge base was a godsend and allowed me to avoid a likely expensive repair by an
'expert' (if I could have even found one).
