Re: Fairly priced Keys Marinas?
Thanks everyone. We have booked Plantation Yacht Harbor for July 15-Aug 15th. Good price for the available facilities. Our marina slips in Lantana and Hypoluxo (Palm Beach County FL) are still at $13 ft annual. (best rate in Palm Beach). Conch Inn Marina in Marsh Harbor is still 75 cents a ft per day with reasonable electric and water. Agree that Faro Blanco is excellent but super expensive. Also agree that Marathon is not desirable.

What do you have against trailer parks? Not everyone can be rich like you guys:-)

Thanks Captainwjm. We are on board the 57 Carver along the wall at slip B17. Nice Park. Excellent Marina. Will look you up in the next day or so.

Re: Fairly priced Keys Marinas?
Good choice vs. Marsh Harbour. Everything else is very expensive and well, there isn't much there to enjoy unless you have your own tender which is at least 16'. A little chop on the sea of abaco will make a mess out of your day, BTDT for many years.
Being in the states you can have your own car, or rent a car per day cheaper than you can rent a golf cart over there. If you could get into the outer islands at that rate I'd be ok with it but then you will be on the ferry looking for groceries. Then there is the price of diesel.Regards
