  1. Hatteras/Sams Black Window Trim Rubber

I have 75' of the black window trim: http://parts.samsmarine.com/PartSear...ItemNmbr=58156 . It's a single uncut section.

We ended up using urethane instead at the urging of a local shop.

    Make me an offer.

I am actually going to send this back to Sams. Call them if you need this stuff!

How about a photo of the finished job? How did it turn out?

I'll grab a few this weekend and post them up. It sealed them up good but isn't finished completely yet.

This was our outcome. I placed this in another thread, but I'm adding them here to make it easier to read.

It looks great. How did they do it? Tape it off and then what? How did they make a consistent cove on it?

A friend of mine did his with urethane. He used the rounded end of a dinner knife to make the cove. The urethane comes in all sorts of colors to match what your frames are.

Re: Hatteras/Sams Black Window Trim Rubber

This is better than the rubber stuff which sooner or later always leaks. What product was used here?

  10. Re: Hatteras/Sams Black Window Trim Rubber

Unfortunately I don't have the details as we paid an outfit here in Seattle to do it. I do know its urethane.
