Had a funny thing happen yesterday. A friend called me from Victoria Canada where he had just had his boat unloaded from a transport ship and had moved it to a slip nearby. There was a Hatt next to him that had also been unloaded. The captain had motored it to the slip next to my friend, but could not get one of the engines to shut down so my friend called me to find out how to shut the 8-92 down, I guess I am now a Detroit expert thanks to all you guys here on the forum. I was surprised that a captain did not know how to manually pull the stop solenoid rod, probably one of the easiest things to find on a Detroit. Thanks to my education here I was able to save the day. John

Re: Detroit expert
Small world. I had two friends also unloading off of the Star Lofoten! Glad to see more Hatties coming up from Florida!
