Re: Recessed flood lights
Check out the Lumitec lights, seem to be the most bang for the $$$$$$$. We changed ours over to 24 volts, never liked having 110ac up there.

Re: Recessed flood lights
The new LEDs are so small they don't need to be recessed. I used the holes formnew speakers and installed low profile Lumitec Cabreras.

Re: Recessed flood lights
This Lumitec model is a retrofit for some GE flood light housings.
Know a few people that installed transformers to switch 110v AC over to 24v DC so they didn't have to rewire everything.
Also have scene some boats that took fiberglass sheet cut to insert/fill the old housing space and then mounted smaller lights.

Think Rigid and some others also offer similar flood light retrofit light housings.CRICKET
