Was surprised that a nine series Garmin chart plotter cannot communicate with a seven series chart plotter via NEMA 2000 .Garmin technical assistance confirmed it does not work Strange?

Re: Garmin
What about just using the Garmin network connection instead of NEMA 2000?

Re: Garmin
There's a few things going on here.
1) the 740/1/2 was not designed to be a fully networked unit.
2) the 9 and 10/12 series are more modern versions but again not designed to be a fully networked solution.Scott
