MTOA stands (I think) for Marine Trawlers Owners Assn. It started out some years ago as Marine Trader Owners Assn. Great organization that offers lots of member benefits such as group insurance, advice when traveling etc. BobK is a very active member and perhaps he can expand on it. BTW, membership is available to any boater but almost a requirement for those planning on doing the great loop, as many of their members have.

Re: Liability only Insurance in Florida
MTOA = Marine Trawler Owners Association. Most members have trawlers, but we have a Post, a 70' Hatteras, 60 something Viking and other miscelaneous boats. Most us us are cruisers. Google us for detail. Members are mostly US, but we hav Canadian and others off shore. We are active with annual major rendezvous and regional meets. I'd be happy to sponser anyone interested.

Boat US/GEICO. About as painless and inexpensive as insurance can be.
