So many questions, so little time. Maybe I'll answer next year.

Does the water in the Tenna sea get to 32 or lower?

I'm wondering if the cold would even make much difference in the water temp.

    Happy New Year, Mark.

Don't worry until it stays below freezing for a week. I've had ice around my slip and never a problem. Just an oil filled electric heater with a fan in front of it to move the air.

Your biggest worry is an ice storm which takes out power for an extended period of below freezing temps. Good news is, insurance pays for freeze damage in that circumstance. To be safe, I shut off all my seacocks and pour a little antifreeze in the strainers. I've seen those freeze, burst, and sink the boat.

Wrap some pink non-itch insulation in plastic, and close off the engine room vents. Otherwise it sounds like you are good to go.

    Re: Cold Snap Advice

What Randy said! We're both near you. Yep, it's cold, but the lake temp is in the 40's. Block heaters, if you have them, oil or ceramic heaters in the ER if not. Close the thru hulls. I run pink stuff thru the water system, including outside spigots and wipers. Fortunately, I'm close to the boat, and I'm running several of the heat pumps....but, I'm headed to the Bahamas Wednesday! Buh bye cold weather😎
