The PO kinda fessed up and sent us receipts from the previous clutch pack replacement, 2 years ago.. The pack itself isn't bad, $209, but it uses 2, and with labor and all the other parts..$5,900.

Re: Fall Adventure
Watch the long range forecast. The following is from Marv's Weather forecast this morning regarding Invest 93L.
bottom line model guidance - even though we think that it is overdone, it is very concerning that the European model guidance is forecasting over 100 mph wind gusts across Nantucket, the outer part of Cape Cod and parts of southwestern Maine late Sunday night into Monday morning .. given the extreme potential of this storm, it is something that will need to be monitored closely ...bottom line flooding - significant to major coastal flooding is expected from Sunday through Monday along the coast from eastern North Carolina up to southeastern New York State, Long Island and the entire coast of New England .. in addition to the coastal flood potential, wave heights of 15-25 feet are expected on Sunday night into Monday from Nantucket Island through Cape Cod to the Gulf of Maine and along the Maine coast .. everyone from eastern North Carolina northward through the Mid-Atlantic States, New York and New England need to closely monitor the progress of this potential significant to major storm system that is forecast to bring impacts from Sunday through Monday ..

Re: Fall Adventure
The lobster guys are all talking about the weather coming in Sunday.. Hopefully will be safely pulled at Billings Marine. Gonna wait it out there. If the tranny hadn't failed, we'd be at the Casino in Atlantic City waiting it out..but chit happens.

How many hours on the clutch packs between rebuilds?
Will it make it the rest of the trip without needing another set of clutches?Scott

Re: Fall Adventure
Scott, looks like the PO got a season out of them, maybe 200 hours. Mechanic said if it is just clutch packs, it can be done in the water, anything else, it's gotta come out. They've got 2 mondo lifts here. My guess is she's coming out.
