Anyone have or had a 53 C with 892’s that can tell me cruise speed at 1950 and gph? Also have read that installing spray rails that continue from bow to stern will increase cruise speed by 2 knots. True or false?

True on the rails.
I'll ask a buddy who runs a 53 like that what the numbers are.Scott

Were these made with 8-92s? I've lost track. I thought they all had 12-71s.

Re: 53 C cruise speed
RSmith has run a few and should have good info. Lift rails make a big difference but it’s crucial they are done right. Poor design and install can ruin the ride.

Re: 53 C cruise speed
Would the lifting rails added help a 53 motor yacht cruise faster ?

Re: 53 C cruise speed
Considering the difference in power between most 53 motoryachts and convertibles I'd think it can't hurt but may not do much to help
