Just saw this on Ebay if anyone is looking for led fixtures.
We installed about 20 of these Quick Marine Kai Led fixtures 2 years ago and they've been really great.
Even at wholesale paid almost twice as much as these are.

Re: Deal on LED lights
What type of dimmers and transformers are used with these lights? Any idea how much depth they require for mounting?

Re: Deal on LED lights
Only have 1 room on a dimmer because I've only been able to get 1 correct Vimar switch for the Blue Seas led dimmer.
Quick makes a dimmer, might try one if I can use Vimar switches that are available. Or I'm going to have to change over to current Vimar switches, which I'm trying to avoid.
Transformers are Meanwell Led driver, don't know the models. Also have some powered by 24 volts.
Btw, we used the warm white colored light 6w fixtures with stainless bezel.

Re: Deal on LED lights
Tim, just looked at the ebay listing, some of the choices must have sold out, there's still 9 satin bezel warm 6w dimmable lights left. When I first saw the listing I thought it was a mistake as they had the 6w dimmable fixtures for about $50, I had paid around $63 wholesale two years ago. I'm assuming they must be discontinuing the Kai model, purchased enough to finish replacing the rest of our lights and have some spares.

Re: Deal on LED lights
Just received my new Kai fixtures from Quick.
Fixtures have 3 wires (red, black, white) instead of just red and black of our current Kai's.
Called Quick to ask what the deal was, their tech support picked up on the first ring, stated the white wire is for dimming but the lights will dim with just the red and black like the current model.
The support guy couldn't have been more helpful and personable.
Did ask him if they were bringing their gyros to the US and stated they're in the process of getting their installing boatyards and OEM's setup to compete with Seakeeper.
Btw, the face is exactly the same as the current lights, will try to get a couple installed over the weekend just to make sure all is good.CRICKET

Re: Deal on LED lights
Thanks for the recommendation. I picked up a bunch of these to upgrade the lighting in my V-Birth, hallway and crew cabin. I'm thinking I will need 3 small transformers, 3 dimmers and of course 3 switches.
