    I don't think there is any wrong about suggesting a fellow hatteras owner that the part he is looking for is inadequate as stated by the equipment manufacturer. I stand by my original reply

    As to manifolds, boats with larger ER often have two bottles with multiple nozzles and sensors all linked by braided SS hoses to ensure a fire is detected right away and the agent sprayed evenly in the the ER

    Even smaller boats, such as my 48 LRC, before replacement with Halon, had two CO2 cylinders and two nozzles, one above each main engine, plumbed with threaded galvanized pipe.
