    Calling Sky in Ellenwood

Sky: I might be finally headed your way. I like the marina where I am, but it was floating docks that rock n' roll, plus are low to the water. My wife, the Admiral, hates the docks! That and they raised the slip fees 12%, while my dock is still broken and the pedestals are all broken at the base. The slip fees are now higher than Ellenwood, not that it mattered all that much.

I have been on the Ellenwood Marina site, but they don't really pictures of the docks. Are they fixed and are they fairly close the gunnel, so it is not a huge step up or down to go aboard. As you know, we have a 43' DCFB. My wife would much prefer the fixed dock!

    What can you tell me.

    Thanks, Quincy

They are fixed docks. At one point, I had to step down to get on my boat. Now I have a 3 step stair with with high water.

Come on up, you'll love the people here; great group. We could use another Hatteras to spruce the place up. And its always nice to take the boat out on White Lake even if Lake Michigan is nasty.

Call Dave at the office and he will find a nice slip for you. Tell him you know me. I'm on the Board of Directors.

Excellent. Thanks for the response. We are about 40 mins down the lake, so may make a run up there this weekend, weather permitting, or just drive up, as weather dictates.

I will give Dave a call. Nice to have friends in high places!

    Thanks again.

I'll be there. Its oil change weekend for me. Look me up, slip 53 just down from the lift well.

Sky: Thanks so much for the massive tour! Yours is a great 53' MY that shows loving care.

The marina is as good as I have I have seen and we loved the people. Frankly, the line up of vintage Hatts was a major thrill.

    We arranged to take B-150.

Thanks again so much. See you next Spring (2018).

We needed a 43DC to round out the Hatteras lineup.

You must have missed the 40DC over on D dock.
