    over the top?

Is it me or is this boat's decor just a little over the top?

I would keep the mirrors and the 4 posted bed.

Funny how they left the engine room and exterior alone.

    The galley looked nice.

Funny how they load it with all kinds of ornate décor and leave the wires on the entertainment gear strung all over like a spaghetti factory explosion.

    Re: over the top?

Sort of brings to mind what a house of ill repute in New Orleans would look like. That's the great thing about boats or anything else for that matter, we are all a little different and as such have our own taste. I'll bet the owner of that boat thought it is beautiful.... which is all that matters, until you decide to sell it. The blown engine thingy also makes it less attractive.

I was looking at this post today. I thought it look like a brothel. What a shame if you look at this boat in 2003 when it last sold, it was magnificent.

On the subject of the blown engine; can it be rebuilt in place and what might it cost to make it right?

What a way to destroy a once nice looking Hatteras. Obviously money can't buy class.
