It's probably time to replace the system.
They've been gone over 15 years and my guess is the unit was not new when they closed up.
Someone got their money's worth already. Why put the time , effort and money into an old and unservicable device.
Have you seen how far the new autopilot have evolved?Scott

Scott I could not agree more, however for our one trip a year to Catalina island I cannot justify a whole new system especially since the one I have actually works just fine except I cannot read the display anymore, which really is not a big deal as long as it is steering the boat on course. John

Every once and a while you have to upgrade.
If you have a less than 10 year old GPS and or radar youll appreciate the upgrade.Scott
