    Re: Lights above helm seat

Bella Sophia has 3 sets of lights in the pilothouse. 2 rectangular DC lights port and stbd. The other lights are AC 24v lights. There should be 2 transformers in the dog house on the flybridge. Mine are on the stbd side just as you enter the dog house. Grey transformers. Inside the cover on the transformer is a fuse holder and fuse. Check there first. 120v from switches / dimmers to the transformers. Transformers knock down to 24v AC. Then to light fixtures. Turn off 120v breaker in main AC breaker box.
    Thanks,

    Tony

    Re: Lights above helm seat

I've got 2 rectangular lights in the ceiling of my 87, 63. I'm thinking one is 32 vdc and one is 120 ac.

    Re: Lights above helm seat

Same on Summer Star as with Bella Sophia except that my transformers knock voltage down to 12 v AC then to lamps.
