That looks great! I wish I was at the flooring stage on my project!

The articulated hinges move up and slightly forward, then hinge the hatch up. It protects the teak at the hatch floor opening and edges of the hatch panel insert. I plan on using schluter to edge the panel insert.

    Re: Flooring project

Schluter is normally used for tile, but it works for this application.

Bow came out well. Lines aren't perfect because of how the hatch laid out. Probably could have planned better on the forward piece...got about a 3-4 week delay ahead for cabinetry, steps and countertops..til then, poly and shoe molding.

It's looking fantastic. Where did you purchase those hinges.

I noticed a pump on the forward compartment starboard side. Mine has been removed and there is only an unknown plate left. What is the pump or fittings for?

    Re: Flooring project

The galleymade head pumps for the two forward heads are on that shelf. The hinges are from CP Performance.

    Re: Flooring project

Ok. All the galleymaid toilets have been removed from my boat.

I hate fiberglass work! Laminated some red oak in place of the foam to hold the Hing screws.

Add the gas struts, touch up paint, and color this sub-project done. I hope the pictures don't offend. I was an equity partner in a large household name Company, when it was privately held. It went public and I haven't had a day job in years..
