After 8 or 9 years, I had about an ounce or two of water in the unit.

    Here's mine after the blowout...

And here's what the strap wrench did to it in order to get it off...

Apparently maintenance and service were required.

An 'Acquired Taste' indeed! See if the Admiral will pick up a bottle. Unfortunately I will not fly home until Mid-July so you'll have to wait (at least to drink mine)!!!

I would certainly hope that someone of the caliber of a Hatteras owner could and would do better than Jim Beam. Mind you, I'm not disparaging Jim Beam or placing them in any sort of similar category as say...March Pumps.

Right. Better than Beam for sure!

I just took a look at our dampeners and we have one of each of the below dampener part numbers on each side:

    4001-238-00
    4001-199-01

From what I can tell these are not listed on Flowscans parts list or otherwise. I reached out to them to see what the updated part numbers are if any.

Update: Flowscan called back and gave me the updated part numbers:

    4001-238-00 new p/n 233-076-00
    4001-199-01 new p/n 233-041-00
