This is brilliant. I ve seen gas powered surfboards but they are loud and the little gas motors are temperamental
And with the foil lifting the board out of the water you cut drag to nothing extending the battery life
Foil technology is just incredible. It s still in its infancy but starting to appear on a bunch of boats from optimists to beach cats. It's not new obviously but it s suddenly trickling down from the americas cup to smaller toys.
Speaking of which, Americas cup semi finals resume today at 1 pm, aired on the NBC sports app. Amazing technology and excitementPascal
