    The buyer may have wanted the cable and not the connectors. With the isolation transformers many of us have, you only need three conductor cable for shore power. So, with new 6/3 cable going for close to $10/ft., this cable is $4.00/ft. Cut the connectors off, install a little red tape on the white wire ends, get some new 250v/50a connectors, and you have a significantly lighter shore power cable usable only on isolation transformer boats. Just a thought.

    BTW, the red tape is just a code thing, no functional purpose.
