I think they also oem Cummins. They used to have a Cummins partnership but that may have changed over the last few years.

Re: Greenline 40 Hybrid. I hate to admit
I think we all would like to see Hatteras start making boats in the size range that we have all come to know and love. Unfortunately they came to the realization (in their infinite wisdom) that they make a whole lot more money on the large mega yachts of 80 to 100+ ft than on our "little" boats. I can't understand their thinking however since the most successful period of their history was in the glory days when they made the 32 - 60 convertibles and the 38, 43 DC's and of course the king of their success story, the 53 MY. I would bet that they would sell very well and most of us would be lining up to buy a late model used one and some of us would probably buy new. Just think....a new Hatteras with all the systems the latest and greatest..new plumbing, wiring, engines etc. Little or no pesky rebuilding/repainting of anything.
Oh well, I can dream................

Sure, it isn't built like a hatt, but it's a nice looking boat: http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/2014.../United-States

Here's one at a local dock. They look nice and shiny when new, but lots of stuff for the sun to wear on over a few years. This is fresh water, too.
