Re: The new Bertram 35
Let's see how many they sell. The boat was at the Annapolis Boat Show. It looked more like an eye candy boat to me (think Hinckley Picnic). I think it's pretty small for the hard core fishing crowd and not fast enough for the 4 outboard center console crowd.
But who knows? The Volkswagen Beetle was a big hit.Looking for another boat...not a Hatt

Re: The new Bertram 35
I don't think it s targeted at the fishing market. It's a day boat /weekender indeed going after the hinckley market as well as other downeast lobster boats
It's gorgeousPascal

Or you could buy a Blackfin 33 and put $100K into it and save a half a million or so?http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1993...s#.WBo4yqOZPVU

Re: The new Bertram 35
I think they have a winner and they are going to sell a lot of them. According to the folks at the Annapolis show, they have sold eight of them so far.
I wish Hatteras would do something like this.
I would imagine that would be improbably, but on a night when the Chicago Cubs just won the World Series, maybe it isn't too much to hope for.

Viking bought Ocean and plans to retool the 37 Billfish as a Viking. Must be a market out there for these boats. It does offer entry level boats for these brands. It wasn't that long ago when none of them offered anything under 50ft.
