    Markel did a good job for mine so far $3,300 in land waterways. Stated value $250k. 56my. New to boating, needed captain sign off. Criteria not onerous. I used Ben Bayan at global as the underwriter. If your interested I'll post his number.

    Was talking to Boat US the other day about another matter and ask them about insurance. They said a 1974 53 motor yacht no matter what I said about the condition could only be insured for $110,000. Seems a little low for a fully restored boat. John

    hi we use Jerry Norman from Novamar Ins. Sarasota Fl. 941-444-5099 ...our Ins. Comp. used to to be Seaworthy they were awesome but now they are Geico ...don't know about them yet... we pay around $4500 + - for a 1981 56' MY

    WE have spent the summer at home at Joe Wheeler State Park on the Tennessee.I had some good job interviews yesterday and we may be here for awhile.The Loopers convention is on going now and the marina is full.

    Hope that works out for you, Robby, even though I know you guys will miss the warm weather in Florida this winter. That's a very nice marina, even though the management is brain dead.
