I've been experiencing a problem with my engine synchronizer. It throttles up ok, but when I throttle back down, the lead engine comes down ok, but the slave does not. I have to turn off the unit and throttle back manually. I have never delved into the technology of the unit, so I don't even know where to start. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Glendenning Sync Issue
I'm having the same problem so I'm anxious for answers too. Here is a link from the manufacturer.

The folks at Glendinning are typically extremely helpful. Give 'em a call!

If you can't get it resolved give me a call. I know a local guy who is top notch with them.

Re: Glendenning Sync Issue
Sounds like the Glen needs a clutch adjustment; also check the tension on the slave engine's governor tension spring. If there is too much tension, it cause the Glen/clutches to work harder and it will need a clutch adjustment more often. How to do both is in the Glen instructions that came with the unit and on line from Glend.
