SCan't believe What I saw today... Walking down the dock, I looked at a fairly new 60MY with a section of rub rail ripped out.. I took a double take, both at the rail and th hatteras logo and just shook my head
No other sign of damage, no stress cracks just 6 screws pull out and the SS sticking out.

It's a little hard to see the SS rail in the picture, but my guess is the boat caught on something and pulled the rail at a joint between two sections.

It just looks incredibly flimsy. The boat shows no evidence of hitting, no scratches nothing.
