Unusual 53C for sale by owner

I don't believe I have seen a 53 set up quite this way before. Note the unusual foredeck railings. The ad states the boat is set up for economical cruising but does not include engine info. The brightwork is also unique and neat looking(lots a work!) The custom section just aft of the salon in the forward cockpit looks as if it a storage area of some kind. If it is as clean throughout as the exterior pix show it could be worth a look for someone wanting a mid sized Hatt convertible that had cruising emphasized.http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/boa/4726271702.html

I think that was the one I looked at in Daytona 3 or 4 years ago. It needed lots of work but the interior was very cool with all the teak and copper. The entire mid galley floor was a freezer.

I wonder if they took out the DDs and put in trawler engines.

    Beautiful hull color!

But those rails would have to go.

Bananas and yellow boats are bad luck. Plus what's that on the back deck? Elevator or shower stall?

Looking close at the photos it is very slender and tall with a set of doors. Since the listing claims the boat is set up for cruising might it be a storage unit for a cockpit table and folding chairs?

I saw this boat come into Stewart (manatee pocket) on the way to the Abacos. The engines are Detriot and have that destinctive drone (love it). The color and look was amazing. It is truly a unique boat. I didnt see the inside. Lot of boat for the money. You need a full time crew just to keep up with the brightwork.
