Can't see what size boat this is but 1400 to 1800 hp engines are pretty normal nowadays for 70-85 sportfish...

The 60GT comes with 1925HP Cat 32Acerts. The 65s came with 1800HP 16V2000 MTUs and I'm sure the new 70 and 77 will offer the 2400HP-2640HP 16V2000 MTUs as options. The 65 series II had the 1800HP 16V2000s back in the early '00s.

    BUT that's a 28 so it's really exciting.

    Looks like a nice ride.

Are you in cabo? Have not seen much out of the marina or damage to boats. If there was a big surge with that storm it must be a mess. I was not sur they would be able to pull off the tournaments comimg up in the next 6 weeks.

I was thinking it was a 54GT. I guess it's one of the last 55C series II. Fantastic hull. I've been following the 54/55 and they are getting harder and harder to find deals on, the 55 in particular. Here's some nice running footage of a 64c running

I don't think one measures $ per hour on these boats...it's more like $ per second.

Cool vid of the Hatt 54 from last year.

I have always liked the Cracker video--there are a few more of the actual shootout from the same professional whose name is Forest Johnson (click on the poster's link).

BUT, my favorite fast sport fisher vid is this Spencer 68:
