    I'm sure the fuel burn would hurt more than the purchase price.
    Maybe.
    Just for reference, my son runs a new 68C for a guy in Portland, Maine. Cruise is 28 knots. fuel burn is 250 GALLONS/hour, with giant MTU's.

    A boat buck an hour at cruise. OUCH.

    That's a bit much for me.

    I'd like to keep under that a day.

    We're on the boat this weekend, and the 82' in question is five slips away.
    She looks like a bank repo, ignored for a long time. Corrosion everywhere, seaweed farm on the bottom, things rotting in the cockpit, etc
    I counted eleven antennas.
    I can see what looks like a redneck air conditioner (the Home Depot kind with a dryer duct out the window) in the salon, so I would plan on resuscitation costing a boatload.....so to speak.
