Re: 82' convertible in Ca.
I'm sure the fuel burn would hurt more than the purchase price.
Just for reference, my son runs a new 68C for a guy in Portland, Maine. Cruise is 28 knots. fuel burn is 250 GALLONS/hour, with giant MTU's."The older I get, the faster I was......."

A boat buck an hour at cruise. OUCH.
That's a bit much for me.
I'd like to keep under that a day.Scott

Re: 82' convertible in Ca.
We're on the boat this weekend, and the 82' in question is five slips away.
She looks like a bank repo, ignored for a long time. Corrosion everywhere, seaweed farm on the bottom, things rotting in the cockpit, etc
I counted eleven antennas.
I can see what looks like a redneck air conditioner (the Home Depot kind with a dryer duct out the window) in the salon, so I would plan on resuscitation costing a boatload.....so to speak."The older I get, the faster I was......."
