Hi All,

We try to visit Nantucket a couple of times a year and put up at the Boat Basin, alas this year due to my health the boat is on the hard so we had to take the ferry (arhhhh) at least it was the fast one. I thought I'd post a few images that you all might find interesting.

Admiral just got back from 9 days of visiting her sister & two neices in R.I. They spent two days at "Block Island" ? (or Fire Island, I don't know which one is off R.I.) But the pictures she brought back of boats were great.. Maybe I'll venture up next year when she goes visit........

The Trumpy is called "Wishing Star". The yacht behind her I believe is "Belle" which was built by New York Yacht Launch & Engine Co.

Being a native, i'm kind of partial toward Nantucket, but objectively, having visited them all, I think Nantucket is something much more special than Block Island, Marthars Vinyard or Fire Island....
