Over the weekend my stbd main water pump (coolant, not raw water) started leaking around the front plate that is held in with a 6" or so clip. About an inch or so of one side of the clip seems to have snapped off.
Seems to be an easy fix but I wanted to ask the detroit guys here whether there is anything more complicated that I am not seeing.
I havent looked at the manual yet but I do have a new clip and impeller in inventory. Will I need seals? etc?

Shawn the er is an o Ring behind the cap, replaceing the snap ring and o ring should likely solve the issue, you will need to apply some pressure on the cap to get the snap ring in. I would also lube the o ring.
