Re: Emily headed for So Fla

To the point of being prepared: Up here in NC, we have a guaranteed haul out agreement with Jarrett Bay and they started making appointments today. It is "kinda" forecast to be a Category 1 by Sunday. We are scheduled for noon Saturday, so hopefully the coast will have been declared clear by then, as it is a RPITA to haul out whilst living aboard (they cannot guarantee that we will have a power hook up) Plus we have a nice cruise scheduled. So we all need to make like Carlton Fisk and wave that baby to the right!

George, we can put you up if you get in a bind. Watching this close now, may see about hauling at Towne Creek. Cat one won't have the surge to do much damage if out of the water.

Looks like Emily is dead for now. Could get reorganized over the next few days but as of now she is dispersed.

There 3 more tropical waves behind her. Your daughter might be in for a stretch of good surfing.

She and a bunch of freinds headed for New Smyrna at 4am. Funny how I could never get her out of bed before.
