Kidde Fire Extinguisher Recall

I wasn't aware of this until I read about their smoke detector recall last week. 7 of my 10 handhelds were on the recall list. At least this is a good opportunity to have some older units replaced with fresh ones.

I had one I had to replace. You got 🍀 lucky.

I got 9 fire extinguisher replacements.

Easy peasy!

I got 5 but not all marine.

I have to send back the old ones. Wait till they see they're from the 80"s.

I need to start throwing things out but they made it harder.

Not all of the plastic handled ones were recalled. You have to go to the website and plug in the model numbers, serial numbers, and dates. I ended up getting 6 replaced: 2 in my house, 2 on the boat, and 2 in the jet skis. All the rest were okay.
