Bill to repeal ethanol subsidies

I saw this on the hull truth and thought it was worth posting here:

I know Ethanol is a major PIA for all of us, never mind the cost associated with this. The good new is there is a bill on its way to repeal these stupid subsidies. It is H.R. 1075. Details can be found at http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1075

Right now there are a number of Senators supporting, nevertheless this is an opportunity to get involved in something real, other than bitching about it in a boating forum. WRITE YOUR CONGRESS PERSON NOW!!! OR YOU LOSE YOUR RIGHT TO BITCH ABOUT THIS TOPIC IN THE FUTURE.

I just read the same thread over there. I sent my congressman an email and I bet I get some bs answer that doesn't take a side. My guess is this doesn't get any closer to becoming a bill with all the corn lobby $$$$.
