Not necessary BO and the gang has taken care of that very nicely. I would never vote for a liberal. I don't know but I suspect you would never vote for a conservative. We don't decide elections the people in the middle do. They've now seen that hope and change really meant Lies deception incompetence secret back room deals and irresponsible spending. They've gotten a taste of a true intellectual liberal and they want no part of it. You really can't blame them regardless of what your ideology is anyone who's happy with what this administration has actually delivered in it's first year is just an idiot.

The good part is that BO has the highest disapproval rating of any president since they started keeping records (1938). And that even worse than it sounds because he won by a deceive margin in a 2 candidate election many other presidents that did almost as bad were 2 candidate elections. So BO had more initial support than many but has dropped lower than any of his predecessors.

The Dums keep snickering and saying there is no Repube candidate. The truth is that right now Daffy Duck could beat BO and I don't think that's going to change. Polling shows that people support a tea part candidate over both Dums and Repubes. I think you will see a tea party like candidate emerge under the Repub banner. Wouldn't that be just great? Then we could Repeal all this socialist garbage stop screwing are kids and grand kids and go back to being Americans!!! Doesn't that sound just great Noel!!!!

Yeah they will. But the way I see it it's kind of a natural cleansing. This group is so arogant so out of touch and making such bad decisions that hopefully it will keep Liberals out of power for a long time. Similiar to what Carter did but this bunch is like Carter on steriods so hopefully they will damage the liberal brand enough to marginalize it in the minds of thinking Americans. The far left cool aid drinking idiots will always support it but they don't matter much.

The sad part is that this simple lesson has cost a fortune in money and our individual liberties. It's to bad that the bush adminstration set this in motion and to bad that those deperate for change couldn't read this guy before they voted.

Re: For all of you in the NRA

The libs don't want me, or anyone else fo that mater, to have a gun.

In Washington DC there are the tougheest gun laws in the country, and it's still more likely you may be shot there than in Afganastan for the last several months.

In DC there is not a war, just a gun(s) in the hands of thugs. Illegal guns.

The funny thing is thugs don't cate about the law, and gun laws are included.

Every time soneone gets guned down the media blames guns. when some is killed by a drunk driver they dont blame Jack Daniels or the car.

I guess the real question is why would anybody want give up Rights they currently have. Reguardless of what that right is!

To vote, to speach, To chose where you live, who provides your health insurance or health care or the choise to own a gun or not?

An armed society is a polite society.

The second amendment has been affirmed by the supreme court to apply to an INDIVIDUALS right to bear arms.

I find the DC experiment to be amusing, but sad. If there is anywhere in the country you should pack heat, it's in DC.

The UK has banned virtually all firearm possession, yet violent crime via guns has increased. In Switzerland, where every male over the age of 18 IS REQUIRED to maintain an ASSAULT WEAPON and ammo in their home, violent crime is very rare.

In the early or mid 70s FL law was changed to make it much easier to own and carry firearms. Over the next 10 years violent crime dropped throughout the state except in a few small areas were it went up. Those areas were all a 5 mile radious around public airports. The obvious explanation was that people coming from or going to airports were not likely to be armed.

Re: For all of you in the NRA

A little country in the middle of the middle east called Israel also has a law similiar to the Swiss. When you are surrounded by millions of nut cases that have vowed to wipe you out you damn well better be able to take care of yourself. It comes as no surprise that their crime rate is extremely low...guess why.

Liberal cries to ban weapons is nothing new. All one needs to do is read the Bible where the then well meaning liberals preached to "beat your swords into plow shears". That philosophy has NEVER worked ever in recorded history of the human race, so why does anyone think it will work now. You cannot reason with a thug intent on robbing and/or hurting you and your family. The police, God bless them can't be everywhere so it behooves honest citizens to be prepared to insure their own safety. In every one of the states (35 plus) that have enacted "right to carry" laws, violent crime has dropped dramatically. It's downright frustrating why the well meaning members of our society can't understand fact after fact in favor of a well armed society is a safe society. Even the famous Japanese Admiral Yamamoto spoke out against an invasion of the continental US because at that time over one third of all households had at least one firearm or more and the skill to use it. The vast majority were used for hunting to put meat on the table. Of course big city folks were mostly not hunters and had little or no firearm experience, except for the criminals.

By the way, the 1934 safe streets act officially outlawed private ownership of automatic weapons as well as sawed off shotguns. There are very few exceptions and good luck trying to obtain one. The liberal media has done a good job in convincing the public that automatic weapons are common. They are not. Semi automatic is the correct term as they require a movement of the trigger to fire each and every shot. The only thing automatic about them is that they are "automatic chambering" of each successive round. For many years I had a federal license for automatic weapons, but I was in the business of manufacturing and designing firearms. We were not permitted to sell our products to the public, except to other license holders.

If somehow I could be assured that my family, neighbors, friends and country would be safe because ABSOLUTLY no one had a weapon - legal or otherwise, I may consider getting rid of my guns------NOT.

The correct term to describe a non gun owner is.....victim
