    wanted onan 6.5 mcck

    looking for an old 6.5mcck. dont need engine just the gen. i have a strong running engine for the 6.5 mcck.

    MDJE work?

    I'm considering replacing my Onan MDJE 7.5 this winter. The genny is fine, but the engine is nothing but trouble. Would you be able to mate the two?

    I don know if it would work. I have a 4.0 mcck that is strong. however with new ac system we installed, we may need 6.5. the 4.0 and 6.5 engine are exactly the same.

    please send me the sereal number and model number from yours and i will do some research.

    Numbers

    The model is Onan MDJE 7.5kw. Last time I needed the serial number, I was not able to locate it. It is a 7.5 kw diesel powered genny. Installed in a '79 Hatt 43C, so it is an older model unit.
