Smile Further info on the "Obama" books issues

If people would read the books first before modifying quotes which the writer made, we might be able to make more informed decisions and not spread false information.

Here in Canada many are indeed fearful of Obamas background , but perhaps more worried about his economic policies, we have had leaders of similar economic beliefs and these leaders have done more to destroy a capalistic system and therfore create a nation of dependencies on Government largese which no country can sustain for too long.

I personally hope that the US returns and maintains a true capalistic Goverment , may not happen this time but lets hope as soon as possible.

Good luck to all in the US, you have my support and good wishes for a happy and healthy future.

Thanks for the well wishes. By the way, how do you feel about your health care program in Canada? Just curious.

Here's a link to some good information regarding an Obama book.

Dennis, I happen to disagree with his economic policies as well and it is my right to vote for a different candidate. I have no problem with that, this is what elections are all about. Unfortunately it is just not that simple this time

There is a terrible slant to the U.S. media and our public is not informed about who they are about to hand the country over to. Please forgive me if I and others like me who truly love this country are guilty of trying to spread the word to inform everyone that there is more to this man than any of us know. If some of the quotes are a bit off, I doubt it will really matter in the long run. Bear in mind that we have a mere 22 days left to get people to do their own research and make up their own minds.

I wonder what recreational boating will be like under a Socialist system of government?

Health care ??? do not vote for a form of Universal health care, funded by taxpayer and business.

Management and administration will bankrupt it sooner than later, the drug companies will also help.

Try for mixture of private and Gov. It is imperative that the payer has some control.

How about this lets all PAY FOR OUR OWN HEALTH CARE. Then ask goverment to help reduce the cost. Things like tort Reform Help with med school etc. Goverment's job should be to find ways to MAKE MORE DOCTORS remember supply and demand it works.

Stop mandating that insures cover things like pregnancy and prescriptions for Viagra and substance abuse programs. You got yourself pregnant if you can't pay for it then you shouldn't be having kids anyway. Buy your own viagra lack of nooky is not a disease. You decided to take drugs you had the money to waste on them you got yourself in so get yourself out.

And then we as a people have to re think what health insurance should be. DO YOU CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WHEN YOUR TV SET OR WASHER BREAKS DOWN? Of course not because it's expected. Then why does everyone expect health insurance to cover simple and expected things like an office visit for a cold or flu. If you look to health insurance to cover only the un expected major problem then it's afordable.

But of course the above can't happen how could a politician running for president possably advocate personal responsability or comon sense.

I find it quite comical to see Barack Hussein Obama gracing the pages of the November issue of XXL magazine. On one page it has a picture of Obama with the word "HOODZ" over it. In case you missed it they are small pictures underneath the two clowns with their drugs and scales and stacks of money. I think it's sad that people have to stoop to the weak minded and impressionable people that think people like Young Jeezy and Fifty Cent are role models to win an election. I would be very concerned to allow someone with those ties to be in control. And with that I will get off my soap box.

That was kinda the point. As a southwest floridian I must admit I am proud to have a sheriff that has some balls!

It is not the Physician's charge that is killing America. To find the real problem, you need to look at overuse of drugs and medical testing. The reason is simply consumer demand and CYA. If a patient goes to a doctor with a cough; the DR. tells the patient it will pass and does not give a script. The patient is not going to be happy, they expected medication. If they do give a script, often the medication is many times more expensive than the doctor fees. Furthermore, the issue could very well be a virus but a antibiotic is RXed as a percaution. I have many patients that spend in excess of $500 per month for medication. As far as the medical testing, we are expected to do it and if we do not we are subject to legal action. As a chiropractor, it would be nice to be able to crack some backs, make people feel better and go home. It does not work that way....Over the past couple years I found 4 cancers(1 lung and 3 bone), many internal diseases(kidney infections, gall bladders, heart attack) and several broken bones. Why did I find this stuff, I had to send the patient for advanced testing that was many times more expensive than all of my charges put together. All of these cases were "healthy" people that walked in to my office complaining of back pain. If I had not discovered and made the proper referral I could have faced malpractice. This forces doctors to regularly use advanced testing in order to cover their ars. This safety net comes at a high price.
