Hi again, got another question...I am looking at a 38' with the double (Ricky & Lucy) twin beds and was wondering if we pulled them out, are there "systems" under there, or anything that we would have to move? I would want to put in a queen/island bed, but would not want to compromise anything that needs to be there....just wondering if anyone knows? as always..thanks!!! ~L~

If you are talking about a 38' dcmy, there is a fuel tank under each bed.

Re: OK, you restoration guys....another ?
I saw a cute idea for handling something like this and it takes no cutting.
They had 3/4" plywood boards under each twin mattress, the size of the mattress. When used as twin beds, it was identical to original, but the boards were stored under the mattresses. To convert to a queen, they pulled each board out and put it crosswise across both twin frames with little blocks to match the frame height on the outboard sides and rubber strips to protect the finish. Then they put both mattresses together and covered with a queen size sheet to make a lateral queen bed.
Makes a convertible stateroom with little hassle!
This works in 53MY other 1510 mid staterooms too.
